There is nothing unAmerican or unpatriotic about members of the population offering dissent. Saying so only makes one look the fool. I do think our town hall meetings have turned from civil discourse into a red wash of ridiculousness fueled by the purposeful misinformation from a few radical conservatives. But for people to attend meetings and question the government is as good for the liberal goose as it is the conservative gander.
Typically, I watch Fox News Sunday. Today was particularly interesting as the topic was health care and all the participants were civil, respectful and interesting. Good mix of libs and cons and a nice bit of stamping out the lies regarding euthanasia, death panels and all that other. For once I found a news program actually addressing and discussing the real issues regarding health care. And it was Fox (if you can imagine that)! I don't know what to think of that, but I went with it.

Well, if the news channels NEVER told any truth, then people would hopefully be smart enough to turn them off. Me, I turn them off because they're not news, they're just entertainment, and I don't particularly want to be entertained by power brokers and people playing with public opinion.
Wow, I've said quite a bit today. Hope it's not getting old.
What is wrong with this picture - think abut it no joke check it out. http://www.myspace.com/barackobama another lie hidden within, maybe or another mistake that has to be explained - If it is true then Hawaii was a territory not a state.
