Sen. Obama Lays Out Agenda for Persons with Disabilities
The title says it all. On Dec. 3, Sen. Obama released a statement, which you can read here, where he promises to try to break down barriers excluding Americans with disabilities by next week. He says he will accept nothing less.

Good for Obama! I haven't heard alot about disability in the campaigns yet. I am thrilled to hear that he is in support of the UN Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities (worldwide). It is shameful that our own Presdient has not signed it when so many other countries have supported it. It is shameful because it is a matter of civil rights and we are supposed to the great USA. It is really shameful because W's own father signed the ADA into law in 1990 and W won't even support UN leadership on this very important matter. Go Obama! (and Go Hillary!...I still can't decide).
