Enough said, isn't there? It's all their words, their literature, their beliefs and their arguments. Oh yeah, it's also all bull shit. Because try as they might, they can't (and don't) argue with this. Then there's all the stuff that Jesus said, too. But let's not talk about that, either.

I agree with most of the statements about divorce. Divorce is a horrible blight upon our society. It tears apart families (not just the one started by the couple that gets a divorce), and harms children in extremely deep and profound ways.
What I DISAGREE with is one group bringing force of law to bear against another group that doesn't hold their moral values. Marriage most often has been defined by law making jurisdictions to prevent some group from participating in said establishment.
I believe that marriage is a fundamental institution of society, and that a disrespect for that institution has grave consequences. I believe that it's the Church's job to change society on this matter, not the government's job.
