Greene County prosecutors have decided to defer prosecution of Mickey Martin if he keeps clean for two years and pays back $7,500 of the $45k he allegedly stole from the Springfield Association of the Blind.
The group had to close its doors because of lack of funds. What the Hell?
I'm too disappointed to comment further.

Turns out the guy had been putting in his personal funds when the group was low on funds and then reimbursing himself. Apparently he gave himself too much but they couldn't prove he intended to do it.
If that's true and he didn't intend to do it (yeah, I know, it's a stretch) then I agree with the decision.
He accidentally overpaid himself $45,000? That's a hard pill for me to swallow. Of course, I am not in the know.
His actions still put a charity out of business and has screwed who knows how many blind people.
Intentional or not, I think he should pay all $45,000 back to the charity. That seems more logic
It was around $7,500 and not $45K but it's still a lot of money.
That's a lot of what's wrong with this country... the liberals have watered down the law so no one "pays" for their crimes against others anymore. Let's go back to an eye-for-an-eye and maybe things will straighten up.
